Summary:
The National Youth Reference Group is an exciting initiative funded by Communities and Local Government. The group is managed by St. Basils in Birmingham and brings together young people aged between 16 and 25 from across England to promote youth involvement.
Formed in 2008, the group is made up of over 20 young people who are homeless or who have experienced homelessness. These young people have been trained and are available to assist local authorities and homeless organisations to improve and create involvement opportunities for young people.
